In 2012 Fox News And The GOP Will Not Allow Mr. Smith To Washington
Written by SKADI
I’d like to say it does not surprise me that regular folk are not allowed into the GOPS good ol’
Boys club, but it does. Why? For the simple reason that it was not too long ago that regular folk showed up in huge numbers to vote Republican in 2010. We removed Nancy Pelosi as Speaker and won the House back for the party. We could use a quid pro quo with the beltway power elite however they’d just sneer down their pointy noses at us. We are not allowed to the table anymore. What is strange is this: It’s our country, our government and as far as the GOP is concerned we are their voters. Yet, when it comes to actually doing what we want them to, they ignore us.
With the election upon us we are being told that Bain Capital CEO, Robber Baron Mitt Romney is the only candidate that can beat Barack Obama in the election. This man was governor of Massachusetts and his record was fiscally irresponsible. His judicial picks were horrifying, His record on abortion ridiculous and his record on gun ownership dismal. In fact he is the father of Obama care. Romney care in Massachusetts was the template for the fiscal Godzilla that Obama care is. Of course the beltway GOP, the Georgette Mosbachers, the newsies at Fox, the editors at National Review, Weekly Standard and several members of congress are foisting this man down the throats of the voters and all but sneering at any outsider who has a chance to actually beat Obama. These people definitely are not fans of Mr. Smith, regular Joe. It also appears that Romney has the cash for a quid pro quo with these beltway drones, while we the voter is merely taken for granted. If Megyn Kelly dislikes a candidate for whatever shallow, vacuous reason she can put through her pea sized brain then by GOD we should too. And sadly many of us Mr. Smiths take the word of botoxed air heads and insipid communications majors as gospel. I forget Ms. Kelly is a lawyer. This of course brings on an entirely new reason to roll one’s eyes and say that’s nice Megyn.
Here is the honest truth to you voters who think guys like Rick Perry are unworthy of office. You have been lied to and had. You have been manipulated by cynical beltway sleaze and New York media who do not have your best interest at heart. They are forcing you to think that Mitt Romney, Mr. Man Made Climate Change is the candidate. The reason is this: They like the status quo. They want a guy that will do their dance and they don’t care about the country. If Mitt Romney was actually a good man he’d be the transparent candidate that others are but when a guy doesn’t even let the media see his tax returns, well we all need to stop and pause.
What bothers me about this is the media has made it too easy. Too simple for the voter to go along with everything they say. They treat us like inane idiots, and the dc establishment helps foster this by attacking any GOP outsiders. If you want to balance the budget, reform Medicare, make the hard decisions you are isolated and called stupid. For an example look at what the GOP establishment has done to Rick Perry.
The Governor of Texas is for a fact the most successful political figure running in this year’s election. He has never lost an election, he has championed all of the conservative causes that the base holds dear and his personal story is compelling. This is a man who never sought national office, never looked to the next big step. His greatest dream was to be Governor of Texas and he has become the longest serving Governor in Texas history. What he brings to the race is unique, the view of a powerful leader mixed with the heart of the common man. He is regular folk. He is like us. Yet, here we are hearing from Bill O’Reilly, Martha McCallum, and others at FOX News that he is unworthy of high office. Why? It is because he is not one of them. Let me say, that when they say that about Rick Perry, they say that about all of us.
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, a film starring Jimmy Stewart and Claude Rains comes to mind when I think of Governor Perry, about all of us. The synopsis from IMDb tells much.
Naive and idealistic Jefferson Smith, leader of the Boy Rangers, is appointed on a lark by the spineless governor of his state. He is reunited with the state’s senior senator–presidential hopeful and childhood hero, Senator Joseph Paine. In Washington, however, Smith discovers many of the shortcomings of the political process as his earnest goal of a national boys’ camp leads to a conflict with the state political boss, Jim Taylor. Taylor first tries to corrupt Smith and then later attempts to destroy Smith through a scandal
Those short comings were always in Washington but even back then in the 30’s and 40’s our politicians actually were patriots. Now, politicians are not so much. patriotic as they party hacks George Washington cautioned us about the rule of political parties and the attacks on Governor Perry, by his own party prove that political parties are corrupting forces. There is a seedy side to the process brought on by people who insidiously gather their power within a party apparatus in order to steer it towards a certain man or woman who will do their bidding. We voters are only there as useful sheep. If the power elites in DC, if Sean Hannity and his elf like little dwarf Frank Luntz say so n so is smart and we should follow him, compromise what we want and believe in to elevate the party, then many of us do so. We have been co-opted by a herd of cynical, unethical, amoral bottom feeders that put their party allegiances ahead of the nation. They’d never allow Mr. Smith to their party and certainly would never allow Mr. Smith lead their band. Just who does this peon think he is after all?
Mr. Smith this year is Rick Perry. He embodies every decent honorable ideal that Americans have been taught were the hallmarks of a great statesman. He talks plainly, does not make long winded rhetorical speeches, nor is he a painfully boring policy wonk. You can see he is a man who does not have time to get himself mired down in the minutia. His governance of Texas has been the lightest of footprints. His integrity is apparent in his actions. Yes, his words are few, his actions are great. From assisting Louisiana in many of the disasters of recent date, before the Federal Government ever lifted a finger, to making sure at least 400 million dollars of Texas tax payer money went to border security while the federal government under George W. Bush and Barack Obama did absolutely nothing for border security. These two presidents sat on their hands over the border with Mexico while we are still fighting Islamic fundamentalists around the world.
So voters, what are we to do? Are we to slavishly and dimly like brainwashed characters in the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom chanting Kali Mal follow whatever whims the denizens of the FOX news make up chair, and Georgette Mosbacher’s salon have? Or do we stand back, throw off the chains of party loyalty and MSM anti regularfolk propaganda and tell them to go to Hades. We are bringing Texas to the White House, and not Bushes Texas, but real Texas. We are going to see our country fixed. Washington DC and every job there, every federal office, every appointment, ever y elected official belongs to us. Therefore we will decide. Mr. Smith aka Rick Perry must be President, he must go to Washington or very soon because of the graft and corruption of the party’s and the MSM and political establishment there may not be a Washington to go to.
Why I Support Rick Perry by Skadi
I am a military wife. In particular I am a USMC wife. This is not merely a statement of what my husband does. When a woman decides to marry an active duty military officer, she is not just marrying the man; she is marrying into the military. I married into the Corps. Happily I might add.
But as to why I support Rick Perry. The reasons are many. His record as Governor of Texas has few if any blemishes. None that is meaningful in a general election. Of course there are bloggers out there who took the Gardasil issues and ran with it, making a mountain out of a mole hill. However the Governor realized that the law he wanted passed was unpopular and it never took effect. Still Michelle Malkin, RS McCain and others decided they had to attack him for it. All for the sake of what they said was “vetting”. When the dust settled these bloggers who threw such fits over the Gardasil issue seemed to have been self-serving. Finding the right conservative is the last thing many self-important yappers are concerned with. I might add a lot of conservative writers, talkers and bloggers I had once respected have sold out but that is another story entirely.
Then there was the Texas in state tuition for children of illegal immigrants. A little factoid: These kids have to pay that tuition. They are not given anything. They have to have gone to high school in Texas for three years. This law that was passed in Texas does not even really concern these children in particular, rather than out of state residents in general. For example: if a family from Red Wing Minnesota moves to Dallas for work for a few years and have kids in high school their children would be able to get in state tuition if they had gone to Texas High Schools for three years and got a certain high GPA. The children of illegals were allowed to have the same chances. Considering that the bill was overwhelmingly supported by the Texas state legislature, and that only four legislators voted nay, Perry did not have a choice but to sign the bill. Sure on the surface it looks bad. But if one actually thinks about it, the mess Texas has been left with is a mess of the Federal Governments making. In no way could Governor Perry deport illegals, which some so called constitutional genius’ think he has the power to do. Texas made do with what they had. If anything it is a good reflection on Perry that he understands the predicament states have in dealing with a shiftless, uninterested and obese federal government.
The Texas economy is booming. Well over half the jobs that have been “created” in the United States have been in Texas. Under Perry, Texas has a predicable regulatory climate, and tax policy. Business leaders know what they can expect from quarter to quarter and year to year. This is how an economy is run. It is run in Texas with a very light, unnoticeable footprint by the state government.
Perry’s record on abortion issues is outstanding. Under his governorship, Planned Parenthood abortion clinics have been closing all over the state. Considering that this is a near and dear issue to the base of the Republican Party, Perry should get huge kudos. Unlike Santorum who is pro-life but has never really done anything about this problem besides talk about it, Perry has actually done something about the issue of out of control abortions by pushing for defunding of these heinous clinics.
On Gun Control, Perry has been an outstanding defender of the Second Amendment. He is a hunter, and has a passion for shooting sports that is refreshing in a presidential candidate. Unlike John McCain 2008, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, Perry does not merely pay lip service concerning the rights of gun owners, he is a gun owner, and he is not unfamiliar with fire arms and knows the fears of those of us who do own personal firearms. The NRA endorsed him for a good reason.
Concerning Foreign Policy, which is a shambles of promises not kept, allies disrespected and dishonored, and national security left in tatters. We have been led down a path for years by the democrat president whom I personally believe dislikes our country. We are about in the same position we were in 1980 when Carter was president. The other candidates all talk a good game but are they trust worthy? Would they saddle us with a halfhearted political mealy mouth in a Secretary of State like a Colin Powell or a devotee of Real Politick? A Bismarkian wanna be Henry Kissinger type? Or would they bring in a John Bolton, who has always stood for what is best for our country and our near and dear friends around the world? Would they actually ignore the UN when the UN’S leanings go against what is best for the nation? Rick Perry is a man of his word. His record speaks for itself. If he says he believes so, and will do everything he can to do so, then you can count bank on that.
On the military, a subject that is near and dear to my heart. Perry is a veteran. Unlike Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, the governor actually served our country as an Air Force pilot. He understands the sacrifices made, the long deployments, the separations and the discipline. He can count among his endorsers MOH recipients, well known retired members of the military. Men who have seen the horrors of combat and whom have paid the price for serving the nation in wounds and scars, seeing friends killed. These are men of honor, men whose words are their bond and they have faith that the military under the command of President James Richard Perry would be better off than under anyone else. Perry would never forsake our heroes, our defense. He would be a prudent and wise commander in chief, guided by his love of our country, and regard for our men and women in uniform. We know we can trust him. I would not support the Governor if I did not know in my heart he would never take our military for granted. He is after all one of us.
In regards to our budget crisis. Perry was one of the first to say the super committee was a bad idea. He is championing a balanced budget amendment; he also has a flat tax plan that echoes the ideas of retired House Majority Leader, the sage of Flower Mound Texas, Dick Armey. Rick Perry has a vision for America that is huge, but to paraphrase Reagan, Americans should never dream small dreams. The economic plan Perry has put together is not merely a plan, it is a recommitment to ensuring our greatness as a country and a commitment to our posterity.
Rick Perry is one of those self-made men that the United States is famous for. Reagan was self-made; many of our founders were self-made. These men are the brick and mortar of our nation’s history. The road is never easy for a self-made man because the powers that be understand that self-made men are never one of them. There is a disconnect between the GOP establishment and regular voters that is wide and deep. The disconnect is a chasm. The establishment is championing Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and even Newt Gingrich because these three candidates will play the DC beltway game. Rick Perry, self-made man, who came from the dusty dry cotton fields around Paint Creek Texas will never toe the line. He will always put our country ahead of the party, ahead of politics as usual and that is reason enough for rank and file Republicans to vote for Perry.
Unlike Romney, Santorum, and Gingrich, Perry is running for President because the nation needs someone to fix the problems. Unlike Romney in particular, Perry never wanted to be President. He never looked at national office as something he desired but he was coaxed by his wife and others to run because the country needed a leader and if anything else, Rick Perry has always been a leader.
These are many of the reasons why I support James Richard Perry, Governor of Texas for President of the United States. I cannot imagine supporting any other candidate. It is my great honor to do whatever I can to help him get the nomination and then the White House. Our problems are great, and require a real man to fix them. Rick Perry is that man.
Where Loyalties Lie by Victoria_29
It has been a bit since I have written a blog, mainly because I only write them when I moved by the heart to do so. I have also been staying off twitter out of disgust for watching so called conservatives judge not by past deeds but only by words that a candidate is spinning today-sorry I don’t tolerate fools easily. Sorry, I am more into judging by actions, the character of a man does not change they just learn to hide it better (& no that was not a veiled swipe at Newtie & Mittens it was a direct hit).
I would imagine by now anyone that has known me over 10 minutes knows that I am a Rick Perry supporter, but let’s talk about why. I bet you can’t find many people that have supported Romney, Newt or even Paul (even Paul bots sometimes grow up) for 20+ years. Yet, in the next 2 weeks not just a handful but close to 2000 TEXANS plan to descend on Iowa. We are talking about a very long drive in dead of winter-many of us abandoning our own families shortly after Christmas, spending New Year in lonely hotel rooms. Have you heard of 1000s or even 100s of Georgians braving the Iowa winter to support Gingrich? How about 100s of MA rushing to Iowa for Romney? And they are used to frigid weather. So what is it about Rick Perry that brings that undying loyalty? No, it is not because I have always agreed with him-been times over 20 years that I would like to have choked him. His answer on in-state tuition sucked he should have just told the truth & blamed us Texans & not tried to explain our in-state tuition to a bunch of anti-10th Amendment RINOS. First off-what Gov. Perry should have said is, “I was governor a few months when that was enacted, it was passed by 99.6% of the legislature & was veto-proof, so there was nothing I could do, veto would have been over-rode.” That is the FACTS but unlike other candidates that would have been quick to pass the blame Rick Perry is a Man & a Texan-this law was supported in 2001 by 80% of Texans so he took his stand with us & said hey Texas made a decision & I stand with her. REASON #1 In 20+ year I have never heard Rick Perry play the blame game. Right or wrong he accepts responsibility period, the buck stops with him. REASON #2 Rick Perry has always listened to the people of the state of Texas, even his enemies admit this. REASON #3- When Rick Perry is wrong he is enough of a man to say I was wrong, I made a mistake. (& yes direct attack here to be clear-not like Newtie & Cain who constantly claim they are misunderstood or we are too stupid to understand what they really meant, or they play semantics which Newtie is excellent at & suckers buy).
I first met Rick Perry when he was running for Agriculture Commissioner; he came to Crockett, Texas. For those of you that do not know Houston County where Crockett is located is farming, ranching & timber land-it is the heart of the area known as the Piney Woods. Now, 90% of us were registered Dems-we never even considered voting for a Republican (not local or state)-this still had a bad stigma in Texas. In fact, I don’t think face to face I had ever met anyone that admitted to being one. But Perry won us over-he was a cotton farmer, he actually “got it”, he told us what he would do, how he would do, his values of work, God & country matched ours-he was a Vet-he was a Christian, he was just like us & most important of all he was an Aggie. (Where I am from you go to A & M or Sam). I would be less than honest if I didn’t say that campaigning for a Republican in conservative but blue Houston County was sort of an embarrassment (but that is personal issue). However, as is history now Rick Perry prevailed – & trust me this was my 1st experience with nasty campaigns & as his opponent will assure you Rick Perry can play hardball with the best of them. REASON #4 Rick kept his word on everything (under a Dem Governor btw) that he campaigned on & easily re-elected by 67% of the vote (& remember Texas was STILL primarily conservative Democrats at this time). Quick education here-do not confuse how southerners vote nationally with how they vote local/state-2 very different things. Rick Perry helped open up Texas products to other markets outside our state & as the daughter of a rancher-with farmers & ranchers in family-he made a difference. Iowa as a farm state should not even be considering another candidate if you care about family farms surviving-Rick Perry believes in land & family farms-they are as much a part of him as breathing. A family farm is what made him who he is. Somehow I can’t picture Romney or Gingrich even knowing how to start a tractor much less plowing, but Rick Perry can.
Slam, Rick Perry all you want for being a Democrat at 1 time but understand this his votes as a Democrat in Texas were more conservative than the votes Newtie cast in DC (i.e. Newt voted to create Dept. of Ed, he voted to nationalize land in multiple states, he voted for every increase in foreign aid, he voted against every decrease in foreign aid & I could go on & on). Unlike others Rick Perry says what he means & lives his beliefs. Reason #5 Rick Perry has never quibbled about being a Conservative-he was a pit bull in Texas legislature, he has always been very pro-life-REASON #6, he has always been pro-defense-REASON #7, pro-2nd amendment, pro-Israel-which brings us to Reason #8 as a Christian Israel is extremely important to me. Rick Perry has been & is the ONLY candidate that has in reality stood with Israel consistently & openly-that is why the Nation of Israel has bestowed on him the highest Honor of Israel. The others talk about it but obviously Perry made a difference. http://www.thepoliticalguide.com/Profiles/Governor/Texas/Rick_Perry/views/Israel/
This is a history of Perry’s stand on Israel-NOT just what he is saying in an election year.
REASON #9- Rick Perry got the Castle Law passed in Texas & is a very big supporter of the 2nd Amendment to the point he personally carries. Both Newt & Romney are anti-2nd Amendment-very weak in this area. Sorry, y’all call me a hick but I like the idea that my POTUS is not a wimp that I could beat up & that knows how to lock & load.
REASON #10- Rick Perry is a Veteran-he had the guts to put his life where his mouth is. While he did not have to Rick Perry stood ready to defend this piece of ground we call America with his life…..Newt & Romney BOTH took deferments-that to me sums up their whole lives. As the mother of a son that has served in the US Army during a war-while I don’t want my son in a combat zone I damn sure what his commander in Chief to have been in his shoes, not a coward that avoided serving his country (& yes deferments are exactly that).
For those of you that still don’t get it, then I am sorry but please keep one thing in mind as you elect either Obama or Obama-lite. When things keep on keeping on-please don’t come to Texas. Nothing personal but you have a choice to make & if you choose to stand with conservative hating Newt or RINO Romney then please don’t expect my Governor & my state to bail you out when it all goes south for you. We have the best economy, best cost of living, best healthcare, best overall life for a reason & Rick Perry has played a large role in that as often by what he hasn’t done as what he has done. This brings up #REASON 11-Rick Perry knows when to butt the hell out. I know this is way too long & the sad part is that I could list another 20 reasons just off the top of my head. But what you really should think about is why 2000 Texans are willing at their own expense (NOT 1 of us are being paid a dime or any expenses this is ALL on us) would make this trek to Iowa (we are not exactly snowbirds you know).

Social Justice And Marxism
Trying to achieve Social Justice is perhaps the most dangerous endeavor that has ever been tried. Social justice does not exist in this world and it never will.
Social Justice is nothing more than a Godless effort to make things equal for all people, and create a utopia on earth. While it may sound good, it has had as crippling effect on every society where it has been attempted. It has been attempted by people like Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Castro, and the beat goes on.
People who typically want Social Justice fall into two economic groups. Poor people, many of whom have made bad decisions and have no marketable skills, have addictions, or are just plain lazy. They live only for the day knowing that the government or someone will meet their daily needs. The other group is even more pathetic. They are wealthy people who want to provide Social Justice for the poor group with other people’s money. This second group are wealthy enough that they are above the fray. Perhaps they would like us to think they feel sorry for the poor, or maybe that they feel some guilt for being wealthy far beyond their needs or wants. While those things may contributing factors I believe the real reason is their ego.
For many people it doesn’t seem to matter how they acquired their wealth. The only thing that matters is they have it, so they must be more intelligent than those who are not wealthy. They feel this gives them the right to micro manage the lives of the poor. The problem they face is that they are not willing to use their own money, and the poor have no money, so that leaves the middle class. They reason that it’s only just to take from the middle class and give it to the poor. It doesn’t matter to them that there will no longer be a middle class, and that the people who work hard everyday will be the ones who are hurt the most. They just know it will work if the right people are in charge, and of course they are the right people.
As I hope you know this is Marxism, or whatever ism you would like to use. The bottom line is, it is a Godless society that is trying to create a heaven on earth. They don’t believe in God. The only hope they have is some type of “justice” here during this lifetime.
I feel sorry for both groups. If this life is all they have to live for it’s understandable why they are angry at everything and everyone. People who live to please God, which is far different than people who believe in God (even Satan believes in God), have a wonderful peace knowing that God is in control and a better place awaits them regardless of what happens. It’s all part of God’s plan. The peace that Christ offers, and paid for sustains people throughout this life and into eternal life. Money can’t buy that.
If you read this and want to leave a comment feel welcome to do so. However if you believe in evolution, the big bang, or are an atheist be advised I will take your criticism only if you can answer the following questions:
- Where did matter come from?
- Why can’t Steven Hawking find a cure for his illness?
- What has mankind created from nothing?
I will still consider posting your comments even if you choose to not answer these questions, but I will not argue with you.
Failin Palin
This was written by a friend of mine on Twitter in response to many people who have tweeted her RE:governors Palin & Perry.
Gee, I hate it that you have so many so-called “problems” with my Governor, Rick Perry. I have found that most of the vile comments seem to be coming from either the Ron Paul supporters or the Palin cultists, so in Texas terms “bring it on”. Speaking of problems I have a few with Sarah Palin (sorry I tend to believe that when you quit half way through a job you shouldn’t be entitled to the honor of being addressed as former anything-but then “Political Correctness” has never been my strong suit).
Let’s start early-Gov Perry went to Texas A & M-which by the way is not only an excellent school but a much respected one. Palin, gee went to 6 colleges including the little community college that she went to trying to get a Bachelors degree. Do you want to talk about that? I mean heck it only took her five years to get a four year degree, and no she had no responsibilities-she did not work, was not married, didn’t have kids-she just seems to have lacked the stick to it needed to finish a college degree.
Hmm, let’s see you say (words of one palin blogger) Gov Perry graduated and served in the Air Force and then gasp was a cotton farmer…until he got tired of it -okay let’s compare. Six years in AF where he flew big complicated planes worth millions of dollars, traveled all over Europe, and the Middle East, then when discharged he went home and joined his father in the family tradition of dry land cotton farming. Which he did for years. Yes at some point he ran for State legislature, but I guess you Palin cultists forgot to research Texas. He did NOT stop farming when he ran for the legislature in Texas. They meet every 2 years, make a pittance (it was even worse then), and guess what, they kept their day jobs-all of them. Sorry to disappoint-oh that Democrat thing-once again you should have researched, 80% of Texas was Democrats-on a local/state level was Democrat controlled and another FYI in many Texas counties you couldn’t even vote Republican because there were none on the ballot. Sigh, just a fact of life in the south, during the 2 yrs around the time that Rick Perry left the Democrat party-so did probably 100 well known Dems including Judge Roy Moore, Gov Bob Riley, Senator Richard Shelby (and none of them quit either as Falin did-that is a southern thing I guess). What did Sarah Failin do when she left college-wow she held a job all of a few months (Aug 28, 1988) before she “eloped” and began having kids- April 20,1989-interesting dates there seems there could be a family tradition working.
Sarah obviously got tired after a few years of playing housewife and mommy. She ran for city council, where she sat for four years-basically doing nothing. After this unremarkable career in 1996 she ran for Mayor. We won’t even go into the conflicts about how she ran that this race brought up. But suffice it to say yes she won, but during the 1st year she was nearly recalled (another way that she was different that Rick Perry), she also tried to pack the city council (the problem Palin supporters have is that Wasilla has the records-recall was stopped by the City Attorney), while the city at the time she took over had a positive financial balance, it certainly didn’t when she left, she increased sales tax .5%, created a new job immediately on taking office-City Administrator (gee really needed in town of 5000), summary is that she created massive debt, involved the city in multiple lawsuits, made poor decisions-for some reason she seemed to NOT know that you have to own land before you build on it. WSJ called Wasilla on Palin’s departure a financial mess. But, let us move on her Lt Gov race and her LOSS (also not like Rick Perry). Once she lost Governor Murkowski bribed her (the Republican party was trying to get women involved & since he appointed his daughter to senate) by appointing her to the Oil & Gas Conservation Board even though she had NO experience-wow this job lasted all of 10 months (real staying power Failin has, I am sure this will be attempted to be explained away by cultists.) Oh in 2006 she finally got a passport, and wow in 07 she made a trip to Kuwait. Her short little term as Gov is so riddled with conflict of interest and turmoil (also unlike Gov Perry) I’ll leave it for the Democrats to shine the light on. You know another great comparison is spouse’s. Anita Perry has never crossed the line and there has never been a word said in Texas about her “abuse” of the Governor office. Todd not so, there are multiple documented incidents where he not only misused the Gov office but in fact butted in. Then we have the BP conflict of interest-funny how Todd just happened to be working for them on North Slope & Failin made a deal with BP-gee, one of the many complaints filed, still pending and that was filed way before anyone ever heard of Palin-so I can’t wait to see cultist blame this one on media. Guess that is another BIG difference Palin is thin-skinned, and blames others for all her problems, and gee media makes her do all those gaffes like not knowing what she has read.
There are so many negatives against Palin. And while her cultists deny it, she has no legislative accomplishment. Alaska’s economy (much like Mitt’s economy) was basically flat during her term, she has no job creation expertise, she did not bring one company to Alaska in her short tenure, she has no immigration experience, no border experience. Please show me all the bills that she got passed, that she personally worked for and lobbied for. She hired consulting firms in Wasilla and as Governor to bring home the pork, and sorry Y’all that is also documented in both city and state budgets. Palin did sign a bill to build a pipeline-her one accomplishment-however, it is also important to NOTE it was NOT with an American company. She wasn’t satisfied with just causing Wasilla to be sued; her great Alaska pipeline has created a legal mess for the state and is still in court under legal challenges from Canada. I could go on and on, but this whole comparison is absurd. But, let’s see, a couple things stand out, Failin has NEVER held a private sector job (6 mo hardly counts), the only job that she has been able to maintain for even a while before quitting was sucking off the Government dole-so do you really want to make that comparison? LOL I only wrote about surface things. I didn’t even get personal or point out facts that others will point out. Can’t wait for the attacks, but to compare a Governor that has been elected three times to a half term quitter is laughable. And hon, yes as a Perry supporter I am hoping Palin jumps in race. This will be her 3rd election loss (and yes primary will count as #3) (unlike Gov Perry who is 9/0). Fact is once she losses in the primary she has shot her wad and will be another Geraldine and be out of site most of time (sort of like crazy aunt in closet).
